BIOGRAPHY

Shaun Nelson is the senior manager in the energy and excise tax credit practice at RSM US LLP. His advisory work centers on clean energy incentives, including those established under the Inflation Reduction Act, drawing on over 18 years of strategic tax consulting experience.

Shaun built his career at a specialty tax consulting firm before joining RSM, concentrating on the R&D tax credit, sales and use tax, and energy incentives. As the director there, his responsibilities included managing tax credit reviews, new business development, and client incentive programs.
